In a fast-changing educational landscape, knowledge is everything for today’s school leader. “Education Leaders - United in Professionalism” will provide school leaders with a deeper understanding of current issues, as well as update them on the latest developments at the state and national levels.

Conference fee

  • $150 including GST.
  • Fee does not include travel and accommodation expenses, which are to be met by the delegate.

Prof Geoff Masters AO Is school reform working? 

Geoff  is CEO and a member of the Board of the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER). He is also head of ACER’s Centre for Assessment Reform and Innovation. He has a PhD in educational measurement from the University of Chicago and has published widely in the fields of educational assessment and research. Professor Masters’ contributions to education have been recognised through the award of the Australian College of Educators’ Medal in 2009 and his appointment as an Officer of the Order of Australia in 2014.

Andrew is the ALP Member for Scullin in Victoria. Before entering Parliament Andrew was a principal lawyer at Slater and Gordon.

Patrea Walton, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Education and Training
Patrea began her career in Queensland education at Surat State School and has served as a school teacher, principal, and as Chief Executive of the former Queensland Studies Authority. She is now responsible for the operations and performance of Queensland state schools, and serves on ACARA; the ACAA; and the Asia Education Foundation.
