World Teachers' Day
26 October 2012
Letter to the Editor
Friday, 26 October is the day that Australia celebrates World Teachers’ Day. The theme this year is “take a stand for teachers”, and promotes the importance of school communities supporting the teachers who serve them.
Queensland teachers, principals and parents all know that education is a partnership, so this World Teachers’ Day is the perfect time for school communities to get together and celebrate the great things that are happening in schools all over this diverse state.
Well done, teachers, and thank you to all those who support them in their vital work.
