QTU Peace Awards
Queensland Teachers' Journal, Vol 124 No 1, 15 February 2019, page no. 22
The Queensland Teachers’ Union has proudly conducted an annual peace competition in state schools in Queensland since 1990. This competition is known as the QTU Peace Awards. In 2018 the theme of the awards was influenced by the UN Day of Peace: “The right to peace: the Universal Declaration of Human Rights”.
Entries, in the form of a CD cover, were received from across the state, and gift card prizes and certificates have been sent to the winning students. Congratulations to all students and schools who participated.
