  • Began a review of the OP system
  • Removed QTU and IEU – QNT representation on the board of the Queensland Studies Authority (now QCAA)
  • Delayed the implementation of the Australian Curriculum, requiring that PD be provided prior to implementing new curriculum areas.
  • Directed QCAA to define a core Australian Curriculum, to alleviate workload implications and pressure on students.
