  • Through Great Teachers = Great Results, attempted to impose fixed-term contracts on principals and deputy principals; also tried to force school leaders to obtain a business or commerce higher qualification to qualify
  • Ruled out contracts for principals and deputy principals and brought executive principals back into the classification structure
  • Reintroduced employment security policy for government employees, including arrangements to make school purchased positions permanent
