Fortnightly dues payment
Queensland Teachers' Journal, Vol 127 No 8, 2 November 2022, page no. 6
Based on member feedback, a fortnightly direct debit payment option for membership dues is now available.
A number of QTU members identified that paying membership dues in smaller amounts, more regularly will assist in managing their budget. As always, the QTU listened and acted.
This payment option is one of many afforded to members and potential members to meet individual budgetary needs and to ensure they can belong to our amazing organisation (see below). If you would like to change to this payment method, contact our wonderful Membership Team on 3512 9000.
Remember, if you are experiencing legitimate financial hardship, contact Lynn Cowie-McAlister via email at organisers@qtu.asn.au so we can help. It is our aim to support members when they are at their most vulnerable. We will work with you to assist in maintaining your membership.
High membership density ensures our ongoing ability to succeed. If you have not already, invite a potential member to join and contribute to our ongoing strength
Pay when it suits you
Annually: You can pay your annual dues in full before 31 March by credit card, BPAY or direct debit. A 10 per cent discount is available to permanent teachers who pay their annual dues in full prior to 31 March.
Monthly: You can enrol in our direct debit plan and pay by instalment on set dates throughout the year, between February and October (this option does not qualify for the 10 per cent early payment discount).
Fortnightly: You can set up a recurring fortnightly payment via BPAY, enrol in our fortnightly direct debit plan, which is debited automatically from your bank account, or log into myQTU (www.qtu.asn.au/myqtu) each fortnight and make a part-payment via credit card. These three options do not qualify for the 10 per cent early payment discount.
