Schools for Our Future Inquiry survey
Dear colleagues,
The Schools for Our Future Inquiry has been set up by the Australian Education Union (AEU) to look at what is required to ensure we have future-ready state schools with the facilities to meet the needs of every child.
The inquiry is now seeking members’ views to help gather evidence to inform its findings.
We know the right school facilities are an important part of getting the right results for students. We also know the needs of students are increasing, as are the demands on schools to prepare every child for a rapidly changing world.
Teachers need high quality, safe, modern, and inclusive teaching and learning environments that complement the high-quality teaching they deliver.
The inquiry will look at what’s working and what needs to change, and will provide recommendations to help governments make long term, strategic decisions.
That is why we are asking you to complete the Schools for our Future Inquiry survey. It should take between 5-10 minutes to complete and will provide invaluable evidence for the inquiry.
Completing the survey will also enter you into a draw to win an iPad Pro.
Evidence from those who know best what is needed in schools – teachers, principals, and all school workers – is a key part of the inquiry. Please click here to complete the inquiry survey, which will remain open until 3 April.
If you have any queries about the survey or the inquiry, please email info@schoolsforourfuture.au
Thank you in advance,
Cresta Richardson
