Vocal health for teachers Registration
This voice workshop for teachers explores how teachers can care for and protect one of the most vital tools of their teaching trade – their voice! Vocal injuries are a serious workplace health and safety issue and are quite common. This workshop aims to empower teachers with a deeper understanding and insight into their own voices, and will explore how to conserve and protect the voice.
This workshop will be delivered by Kirsten Geraghty, a qualified Speech Pathologist with over 20 years of experience of working with teachers and other voice professionals in voice therapy, vocal training, vocal injury prevention and coaching.
Programs delivered by QuEST are recognised as legitimate professional development by the Department of Education and Queensland College of Teachers. As such, it is appropriate to apply for funding through your normal school professional development processes.
