Our workload reduction campaign is supported by members working throughout the state in concert with their local QTU Organisers and elected branch officials.
We know that this campaign is happening in the midst of the hardest year in the teaching career of many of our members, so:
➡️ To the more than 250 elected members to our 2019 State Conference who kickstarted the workload reduction campaign, thank you.
➡️ To the hundreds of members and organised members groups who worked with QTU officers to make submissions to the Workload Advisory Council, thank you.
➡️ To our QTU State Council delegates, ensuring representation from every branch across Queensland, and who met face-to-face for the first time on Saturday, thank you.
➡️ More information about the WAC processes and the decisions of State Council will be sent to members in the coming days.
➡️ And, to the QTU members representing the interests of teachers on ten learning area advisory committees that the QCAA have convened to provide a Queensland submission to ACARA’s Review of the Australian Curriculum, thank you.
