Membership keeps growing
Queensland Teachers' Journal, Vol 124 No 8, 8 November 2019, page no. 4
Across the past 12 months, the QTU has grown by more than 1,500 members. This is due to the great work of workplace delegates and other members who have been inviting their colleagues to join the Union.
Welcome to all our new members who have joined during the 2019 school year, and to those who have not yet signed up, why not consider taking advantage of our special term four membership offer of a flat $50 for the remainder of the year? If you have a colleague who has not yet joined the QTU, make time to have a conversation with them about why you are a member and how working together we can continue to improve the working conditions and salaries of teachers and school leaders, reduce workload and improve the learning conditions of students in state schools and TAFE.
QTU membership offers you industrial, professional and legal support and advocacy and allows you to join with more than 47,000 of your colleagues to improve the working conditions and salaries and status of our profession, right across Queensland.
Every new member adds to our collective strength as a union and will be part of what we achieve for our profession. Just visit www.qtu.asn.au/join
