QuEST [Queensland Education Support and Training], the professional development arm of the QTU
QuEST delivers high quality professional development to teachers and school leaders across Queensland. Professional Development Officer, Rebecca Hack works closely with QTU officers, members and external providers to identify a suite of professional development programs that will meet the needs of our members right across this diverse state.
QuEST offers a range of programs, including face-to-face, on-demand, and live online programs.These are open to all members and as a not-for-profit initiative, QuEST aims to keep professional development affordable and operates on a cost recovery basis.
Programs delivered by QuEST are recognised as legitimate professional development by the Department of Education and Queensland College of Teachers. As such, it is appropriate to apply for release and funding (face-to-face programs) or funding (online courses) through your normal school professional development processes.
QuEST is proud to offer you these high quality online professional development programs. These programs showcase best practice and are
delivered by current classroom teachers. Initial course schedule - updated regularly
QuEST’s 2022 annual subscription of $295, offers access to:
- a new suite of 30 live professional development courses, ranging from 60 minutes to all-day programs, presented by teachers from around Australia,
- two years of recordings, covering the previous year’s and the upcoming year’s programs, and
- a new suite of 22 On-Demand workshops.
These courses target priority areas for teachers, and offer a great opportunity for casual teachers to obtain their mandatory PD hours in an affordable way.
