 QuEST [Queensland Education Support and Training], the professional development arm of the QTU

QuEST delivers high quality professional development to teachers and school leaders across Queensland.  Professional Development Officer, Rebecca Hack works closely with QTU officers, members and external providers to identify a suite of professional development programs that will meet the needs of our members right across this diverse state.

QuEST offers a range of programs, including face-to-face, on-demand,  and live online programs.These are open to all members and as a not-for-profit initiative, QuEST aims to keep professional development affordable and operates on a cost recovery basis.  


QuEST’s 2023 annual subscription of $295, offers access to:

  • a suite of 34 live professional development courses, ranging from 60 minutes to all-day programs, presented by teachers from around Australia,
  • two years of recordings, covering the previous year’s and the upcoming year’s programs, and
  • a suite of 14 On-Demand workshops.

These courses target priority areas for teachers, and offer a great opportunity for casual teachers to obtain their mandatory PD hours in an affordable way.

Participants in QuEST online courses, QuEST subscribers and teachers in CLAWs in Atherton, Emerald, Mount Isa & Roma are able to revisit the course content by viewing the recording made of the streamed content.
