Memoranda of Agreement
MoAs are developed by the QTU and the department through a process of consultation when there is a gap or a need to transition in current industrial instruments that impacts sections of QTU membership. Often, unforeseen matters or specific site considerations are addressed through a MoA, in conjunction with the award and certified agreement. MoAs protect a particular workforce from unreasonable workload and secure members’ entitlements ahead of a transition into teacher award conditions.
